Private Real Estate Transactions and Funds – RiverStone favors real estate projects and partnerships within the fast-growing regions where we have a presence. Projects generally have a compelling story with below-replacement-value purchase price, strong income opportunity while the asset is enhanced and/or developed, as well as opportunity for capital appreciation at disposition. Private Equity – On occasion RiverStone will engage a project to represent an emerging growth or middle market firm with a captivating narrative. When the stars align on such projects the opportunity might be a recapitalization, management buyout, growth investment, roll-up or other interesting strategies. Our accredited investors and institutional clients can expect to see all deal flow, or only those projects for which they may have a particular appetite or interest. Most prefer later-stage or established businesses rather than start ups.
Short term notes and bridge loans – The market for some lending is fragmented and highly inefficient. On occasion RiverStone will engage to facilitate the private funding of short term, collateralized debt instruments. The advantage to the accredited or institutional investors is the security of significant collateral and the opportunity to earn a meaningful, risk-adjusted return over a short period of time.
Special interests – Our client base is diverse, with broad interests.
